The history of pero-press<\/h1><\/div>

PERO-PRESS was founded in May 1985 by Edmondo Piffaretti<\/strong>, together with other partners and started with 8 skilled workers with a solid experience in hot pressing of scissors since the 1960s.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Originally located at Roncaglia 16 in Novazzano, the company began producing components in hot pressing in brass and other non-ferrous alloys in July 1985.<\/p>\n

With the arrival of the first die-sinking machine in 1986, the mechanical workshop was opened. The company was then able to start building all the pressing and stamping tools required for production and the corresponding equipment.<\/p>\n

In 1991, Simona Piffaretti <\/strong>joined the company and, together with her father, took care of all the administrative aspects of the business.<\/p>\n

As production volumes increased, the available space was no longer sufficient to meet customer requirements. At that time PERO-PRESS began with the construction of the current production buildings at Via R\u00e9siga 8 in Novazzano. The inauguration of the new factory took place in March 1998.<\/p>\n

The first CNC milling machine was put into operation in 1999 for the production of forging tools, as well as the first 3D CAD-CAM program for carrying out complex machining operations in connection with these.<\/p>\n

With the arrival in 2006 of Giovanni Curatolo <\/strong>as production manager, the CNC-machining department was expanded with the acquisition of new CNC machines.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2017, a new department was opened for the grinding and polishing of brass pieces.<\/p>\n

The problems over time showed that it was necessary to be able to directly control every single step of the manufacturing process in order to guarantee a high-quality and efficient service. This allows PERO-PRESS to deliver a quality product to its customers over the years.<\/p>\n<\/div>
